Katherine Z. Crouch

Katherine Crouch is a native of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and has lived in New Orleans since 2008. Katherine attended Vanderbilt University and graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies.

 

Katherine earned her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2011. While attending Loyola, Katherine was a law clerk at the New Orleans Independent Police Monitor where she was charged with re-writing NOPD policy for conducting searches incident to arrest and helped launch a working group to review police procedures for responding to incidents of domestic violence. During her third year, Katherine was a student practitioner in the Family Law section of the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, where she directly represented indigent clients in divorce, child custody, and child support litigation.

From 2011-2013, Katherine worked at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office as a law clerk, where she worked in the Second Parish Court Division and later in Research and Appeals.

 

In January of 2014, Katherine founded Crouch Law, LLC to provide affordable, holistic, client-centered legal representation in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, child custody and support, successions, estate planning, business formation, and civil service employment termination appeals.

 

Katherine is licensed to practice law in all state courts of Louisiana and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle Districts of Louisiana.
